The new edition repair manuals for R models K5x (water cooled) from model year 2013 and up is available on DVD for sale
to BMW Motorrad customers.
This DVD contains the repair manuals for the following models from model year
2013 and up:
R 1200 GS (K50)
R 1200 GS Adventure (K51)
R 1200 RT (K52)
Updates supplement the content of the repair manuals for these models only.
New editions or updates of this DVD will not extend the content to include other
models.
Updates free of charge
The Repair Manual can always be kept up to date by means of software updates
Updates will be made available for the models contained on the DVD
A search for new updates can be started by clicking on the new integrated button labeled "Repair Manuals
Update"
All available updates can then be downloaded free of charge
Online product activation is necessary before the DVD is used
for the first time:
The activation dialog opens automatically when the DVD
is started for the first time
The user licenses the software by entering the serial
number supplied with the DVD in the Internet activation
dialog
Up to three computers can be licensed
Once the product has been activated the program will run from
the DVD, but the software has to be copied on to the local hard
drive before updates can be installed.
"Copy Repair Manuals" is a tool for copying the software
quickly and conveniently in the desired languages to the
local hard drive
