WARNING
Before starting any work on the vehicle, make sure the vehicle is completely and securely stationary. Place

the battery disconnect switches in the off position and lock it.
PROCEDURE LEVEL 1: INSPECT

1.1.
Locate the eight latches and inspect for proper functionning. If they are loose proceed to level 2.

PROCEDURE LEVEL 2: APPLY TORQUE

1.2.
Adjust the latch arm to get the proper height with the door closed.
1.3.
Apply a torque of 15 ±1.5 lb-ft (20 ±2 N•m).
1.4.
Apply Loctite 290 to the bolt and nut assembly that holds the latch arm.
NOTE
Loctite 290 wicks between engaged threads and eliminates the need for disassembly prior to application.

Apply torque seal.

