Issue:
Investigations are currently ongoing into specific failures of the
Transmission Oil Cooler Pipes (Part number T4A15334) installed in
Jaguar F-Pace 2017 and 2018 Model Year vehicles.
Action:
Any failure identified as a result of the following is to be reported
within an EPQR with supporting photographic evidence and the parts
retained for collection. Please do not attempt to repair the pipes or
investigate the failure further by removing the heat shrink around the
thermostat.
Fluid leak at the connection with the transmission due to a
fracture of the hose (photo 1 refers).
Fluid leak at the connection with the thermostat (photo 2 refers).
Transmission shut down event identified as a result of the unit
overheating due to the thermostat within the oil cooler pipes not
opening or partially opening.
Technicians - Please rate this SSM and provide comments so that
future communications can be improved.
1 = Poor – Basic information provided – The SSM does not help me

3 = Average – Adequate information provided – The SSM partially
helps me resolve the customer concern.
