Diagnostic software version 2018-7 is now available to download. Dealers should download this update
from your Triumph Diagnostic Software page under the Service/Technical menu and begin using
immediately.

Please ensure all new bikes have the latest software downloaded at PDI.

Note: This applies from the VIN ranges detailed only. The description change
removes references to Japanese market for these calibrations, due to the new
calibrations released (as detailed in row 2 above).
VCI Drivers:Re-certification of interface driver to eliminate “digital signature” errors
experienced during installation on Windows 10 machines with Secure Boot mode
enabled.
Immobiliser Diagnostics:Improvements to theRe-register all Keysfunction, for
keyless ignition models. Details as follows:

ISSUE 1: When a passive key is used to power the motorcycle on for a Re-Register
All Keys procedure, the motorcycle appears to power down when the first key is
paired.
Fix: The motorcycle is now kept powered on by the diagnostic tool while all required
keys are paired. Motorcycle will not power off until the immobiliser diagnostic

session is ended.
Expected Behaviour:The motorcycle should remain powered on while all required
keys are paired. When the immobiliser diagnostic session is ended, the keyless
ECM is returned to normal control and the standard auto power down strategy is
then applied. At this point, it is normal for the motorcycle to power down.

ISSUE 2:In some circumstances, an 899 second time delay is initiated when
selecting Re-Register All Keys on Speed Triple RS models. The countdown then
reaches 599 seconds and stops, preventing key pairing from taking place.
Fix: A software bug, which caused the 899 second time delay to be initiated under
certain circumstances, has been removed.
Expected Behaviour: Re-register all Keys should now function as normal for all
Speed Triple RS models.
