Summary
This Preliminary Information communication advises the technician effective February 19, 2016, the following brake components for the Chevrolet
Volt and the Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid are being placed on restriction through the Technical Assistance Center. The Brake Master Cylinder, Brake Booster & Control Module, Brake Modulation Valve, and Electronic Brake Control Module are now on parts restriction. Dealer will need to call General Motors Technical Assistance Center for further assistance. Restriction has ended as of 08/15/18

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is
