1.1.
Verify the presence of the stoppers and the hardware on all four doors. Order the missing parts if required
as per Level 2.
NOTE
The modification of the holes in the stoppers will allow spacing for a tool to hold the nut while tightening.
1.2.
Remove all the original stoppers N70005, 4 per door for a total of 16 if none were missing. Retain all parts.
1.3.
Enlarge the holes for the nuts. Three holes per stoppers N70005. See Figure 4.
1.4.
Reinstall the stoppers with the retained hardware and apply blue Loctite 243 or equivalent.
1.5.
Torque to 8.9 ±1.5 lb-ft (12 ±2 N•m) .
