Summary
This Preliminary information communicates that acustomer may complain of the Driver Information Center(DIC) intermittently flickering or going blank. It may be noted that this only seems to occur when playing songs via IHeart or Pandora. This may be caused by a software concern in the Instrument panel Cluster(IPC). The dealer is instructed that engineering is working on a resolution to this concern and when it is available a bulletin will be published to inform the dealer of the repair. The dealer is instructed to advise the customer that until a repair is available for this concern changing the station/source or waiting until the song ends should recover the screen.

Some customers may complain of an intermittent blank or ickering Driver
Information Center (DIC) display. They may also note that this only seems to occur
when playing songs via iHeart or Pandora.
This may be the result of an instrument panel software concern.
Correction:
Note: This PI applies to Instrument Panel Cluster RPO UDD only. If vehicle is not equipped with UDD follow normal
diagnostics.
If this concern is reported, check for DTCs.
If DTCs are present, this PI does not apply and normal SI diagnosis should be followed.
If no DTCs are present, this is the only concern, and it occurs intermittently, do not replace any parts as
engineering is currently evaluating the concern.
Once a solution is developed, a related bulletin will be released with repair instructions.
In the meantime, changing the station/source or waiting until the end of the song should recover the screen
