This letter is to inform you that an interim recall notices are being issued for Thomas Built Buses recalls
FL761, TBB Minotour Wheelchair Lift Interlock, and FL765, TBB Saf-T-Liner C2 LPG Fuel Lines. They will
be mailed in the next few weeks.
Copies follow for your reference.
This notice is for your information only. There is no action for customers or dealers to take at this
time. If customers inquire, please let them know the recall will begin when all preparations are complete.

Subject: TBB Minotour Wheelchair Lift Interlock
This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
Daimler Trucks North America LLC, on behalf of its wholly owned subsidiary, Thomas Built Buses, Inc., has
decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists on specific Thomas Built Bues Minotour buses
equipped with an optional wheelchair lift manufactured June 22, 2007, through December 8, 2017.
On certain buses, the interlock may not prevent the wheelchair lift from operating while the vehicle gear shifter is in
neutral or drive. If the vehicle is moved while the wheelchair lift is in operation, there is an increased risk of injury.
The wheelchair lift wiring will be inspected and repaired s needed.
This is the first of two notices you will receive regarding this subject. This letter is to inform you of an upcoming
Recall to correct the issue noted above. Parts are not yet available. You may continue to operate your vehicle.
The second notice will inform you when the final remedy is available. When you receive the second notice,
please contact your authorized Thomas Built Buses dealer to schedule the Recall for your vehicle.
If you do not own the vehicle that corresponds to the identification number(s), which appears on the Recall
Notification, please return the notification to the Warranty Campaigns Department with any information you can
furnish that will assist us in locating the present owner.

Cet avis vous a été envoyé conformément à la Loi sur la sécurité automobile du Canada.
Au nom de sa filiale à part entière Thomas Built Buses (TBB), Daimler Trucks North America LLC a déterminé
qu'une défaillance liée à la sécurité du véhicule à moteur existe sur certains autobus Thomas Built Buses Minotour
équipés d’un levage de fauteuil roulant optionnel construits entre le 22 juin 2007 et le 8 décembre 2017.
Sur certains autobus, il est possible que le verrouillage ne prévienne pas le levage de fauteuil roulant de
fonctionner tandis que le levier de vitesse du véhicule est en position neutre ou en position marche. Si le véhicule
roule lorsque le levage de fauteuil roulant est en marche, il y aura un risque de blessure plus élevé.
Les fils du levage de fauteuil roulant seront inspectés et réparés si nécessaire.
Ceci est le premier de deux avis que vous recevrez à ce sujet. Le but de cette lettre est de vous informer d'un
rappel à venir pour corriger le problème mentionné ci-dessus. Les pièces ne sont pas encore disponibles. Vous

decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists on specific Thomas Built Buses Saf-T-Liner C2
buses manufactured April 3, 2013, through November 28, 2017, with propane engines and fuel line routing.
On certain buses, interference between the fuel line plumbing routing and J-hook body support bracket may cause
chaffing and a potential fuel leak. A propane fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may increase the risk of
a fire.
Fuel line routing will be inspected for proper clearance and will be rerouted if required.
This is the first of two notices you will receive regarding this subject. This letter is to inform you of an upcoming
Recall to correct the issue noted above. The repair is being validated. You may continue to operate your vehicle.
The second notice will inform you when the final remedy is available. When you receive the second notice,
please contact your authorized Thomas Built Buses dealer to schedule the Recall for your vehicle.

Au nom de sa filiale à part entière Thomas Built Buses (TBB), Daimler Trucks North America LLC a déterminé
qu'une défaillance liée à la sécurité du véhicule à moteur existe sur certains autobus Thomas Built Buses Saf-TLiner C2 équipés des moteurs à propane et d'un circuit de la conduite de carburant construits entre le 3 avril 2013
et le 28 novembre 2017.
Sur certains autobus, l’interférence entre la plomberie du circuit de la conduite de carburant et le crochet support
du châssis en J peut causer de la friction et une fuite de carburant potentielle. Une fuite de carburant du propane
en présence d'une source de feu peut accroître le risque d'incendie.
Le circuit de la conduite de carburant sera inspecté pour l'espace approprié et redirigé si nécessaire.
Ceci est le premier de deux avis que vous recevrez à ce sujet. Le but de cette lettre est de vous informer d'un
