. Try and remove as much of the old Sikaflex with a Olfa blade and not to scratch the painted

surface, as you will need room for the new Sikaflex to stick on.

Once some of the old Sikaflex is removed, you will need to clean the backside of the panel and
the area on the van that’s going to be bonded to the panel

(Clean as much as you can and you may need a stick and rag wrapped around it).

Use Sikaflex cleaner to wipe on and wipe off. Wait 10 minutes then use Sikaflex Aktivator

100. Wipe on the area as much as you can on both panel and van area to be bonded then wait 10
minutes.

Clean up any spills if it runs down the side of the van as it will discolor the painted surfaces.

Use Sikaflex 252 and starting from the top going as far as you can go in and work your way down
and around the corner continuing outward, but leaving enough room as it may squish out. If that
happens it will have to be tooled back and cleaned up with sika remover.

You will want to brace a stick against a wall to keep pressure against the panel making sure the
stick does not leave marks on the panel. To do that, you need to cover the fiberglass panel with a
rag before you place a horizontal wood block on top of the panel to spread the force. Put the wood
brace on top of the horizontal wood creating a T-shape and rest on the wall for pressure.

Please make sure that the coach will be inside the shop at room temperature to have the sika
adhesive to cure properly. The coach cannot be wet at all for 48 hours.
