Even after a software update of the Keyless-Go control unit, the vehicle cannot be opened either via Keyless-Go

or via the radio remote control. This fault persists until the next bus idle period and then rectifies itself. The fault

U016887 is logged in the Keyless-Go control unit.
Cause:
Software error in Keyless-Go control unit.
Remedy:
Do not replace any parts!

New software is being prepared. The markets will be notified immediately as soon as the new software is available.
