Automatic power window operation on driver side and/or passenger side nonfunctional. Loss of window normalization

Note:

- The value of the frequency counter "Watchdog reset on operation of power window" in the DCU-LF (N69/1) or DCURF (N69/2) control unit must be greater than zero. (Xentry Diagnostics > DCU-xF > Actual values > Power windows >

Frequency counter 'Denormalization of power windows' (see Figure 1)).

Cause:
Due to a software error in the door control unit DCU-LF (N69/1) and/or DCU-RF (N69/2), the power window may become denormalized.
Remedy:
Adjust power window parameters in DCU-LF (N69/1) and/or DCU-RF (N69/2) control unit.

The new parameters are available with add on 4212 for Xentry DVD 09/14, with add on 4213 for Xentry DVD 12/14

and permanently as of Xentry DVD 03/15.
Procedure:

1. Request password via PTSS case.

1. A. Please attach a screenshot of the window denormalization counter (Xentry Diagnostics > DCU-xF > Actual values > Power windows > Frequency counter 'Denormalization of power windows')

1. B. Please state your Xentry version in the PTSS case notes

Note: Passwords to be provided will most likely be available the next business day

2. Ensure AddOn 4212 or 4213 is installed, or Xentry version is at least 03/2015

3. Enter passwords provided from PTSS case into Xentry diagnostics (see "207 window parameter instructions" attached).

3.A. This process described must be performed twice, once for the DCU-LF and once for the DCU-RF

4. In door control unit DCU-LF (N69/1) and DCU-RF (N69/2) run the service "DL_Start_Kodierung".

(XD => DCU-xF => Control unit adaptations => Download => DL_Start_Kodierung => Click "Run" (see Figure 2))

5. In door control unit DCU-LF (N69/1) and/or DCU-RF (N69/2) run the service

"DL_Parameter_Fensterhebermotor_Kontrolle".

(XD => DCU-xF => Control unit adaptations => Download => DL_Parameter_Fensterhebermotor_Kontrolle => Click

"Run" (see Figure 3)

Note: Unfortunately there is no confirmation of successful parameter modification! This could not be implemented for

technical reasons!
