for camshaft adjustment are logged:
 DTC P001100 (Bank 1, A camshaft position (Bank 1) Timing over-advanced or system performance - for inlet
side) with symptom code 2795
 DTC P002100 (Bank 2, A camshaft position (Bank 2) Timing over-advanced or system performance - for inlet
side) with symptom code 9040

Production Solution
Optimized camshaft adjuster unit internal locking pin mechanism.

Service
1. Complete the TSB 2041097: 01 MIL on (DTC P001100 and/or P002100 - camshaft position). If everything is
correct, continue with Step 2.
Follow instructions in Elsa to complete the repair at Repair Manual, Engine >> cylinder head >> chain drive
>> camshaft timing chain removing from camshaft.
2. If the camshaft control valves of the camshaft adjustment are found to be correct when completing TSB
2041097: 01 MIL on (DTC P001100 and/or P002100 - camshaft position) then replace the inlet camshaft
adjuster on the cylinder bank affected according to the DTC memory. Before fitting the new camshaft
adjuster, clean the oil passage in the cylinder head between camshaft control valve and inlet camshaft
adjuster with compressed air to remove any particles.
