50-12-01 Water Leak into Front Passenger Compartment

A concern of water leak into the front passenger compartment may be caused by a
seam sealer skip or hole in the area around hood hinge or behind front fender.
Isolate leak location by switching HVAC blower on high, with all doors and windows
closed, and then spraying soapy water, or a foaming cleaner, over seam sealer. If
bubbles are observed at any point during this test, repair leak at location of bubbles
using an appropriate seam sealer.(See Tech Tip for images)
57-10-15 Vehicles with Immobilizer with Download/Discharge– New Key Will

If a new key will not program to the Immobilizer system, check that the correct key
was ordered. Currently, Immobilizer with Download/Discharge keys can only be
ordered from the LA or NJ Parts Depots. If the key did not come from either one of
those depots, make sure the Parts Dept. ordered the key correctly.
When the key is ordered there should be a box to check so that the key is ordered
according to the VIN number. For information to determine what Immobilizer
system you are working with see TT 96-10-07.

This update has been proactively released to prevent insufficient heating output
during low ambient temperatures. This UPDATE is in effect until removed. Vehicle
must meet all of the following criteria:
Procedure is valid only for vehicles that show the 87E7 code in Elsa,
Campaign/Action Information screen on the day of repair.
 If the vehicle is sold it must be within the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.
 Procedure must be performed within the allotted time frame stated in this
UPDATE.
 Procedure must be performed on applicable vehicles in dealer inventory
prior to sale.

