Audi of America is pleased to inform you of the release and automatic delivery of the Audi MRT Auto
Shipment AT-392 used to support service on the new Q5 and other new technologies.
Starting March 6, 2017, all Audi dealers will be shipped one AT-392 Special Tool Package, Freight F.O.B.
Snap-On OEM and invoiced directly via the dealership Parts Billing Account.
For dealers that wish to order additional AT-392 Special Tool Packages, please notify the Audi Tools and
Equipment program by contacting us at 800-892-9650. Additional orders will be filled in the order received.

Additional R1234yf Service Tools and Equipment
Can be locally sourced from a vendor of your choice.
The following list contains several accessories that have been identified as aproved equipment required to
service Audi R1234yf equipped vehicles.
While these tools are required to service vehicles equipped with this new refrigerant technology, we
understand that these items may have already been purchased by your dealership. Therefore this
equipment is available to purchase as needed through the Audi Service Tools and Equipment Program by

NOTE: To meet current legislative guidelines, the VAS581005 is NOT equipped with oil or dye injection
capabilities.
Oil and dye injectors are available for purchase seperately. See below.
AIR90023 – R1234YF Oil Injector with 5" Hose and Quick Connect
Used to inject oil into the AC system of R1234yf equipped vehicles.

BRS734YF – R1234yf inline AC Dye Injector
Used to inject A/C dye into R1234yf equipped vehicles.

ROB25700 – Refrigerant Recovery Machine
Used to recover contaminated (counterfeit) refrigerant from a vehicle
that is equipped with R1234yf or R134 refrigerant.
ROB17990 – Contaminated Refrigerant Recovery Tank
Used in conjunction with the Contaminated Refrigerant Recovery
Machine, ROB25700, to recover and store contaminated refrigerant.
