Below diagram outlines the correct installation of the de-aeration hoses on the RE Model Bus, School and
Commercial, with 2010 MaxxForce DT.
SYMPTOMS
Intermittent low coolant warning, SPN 111 FMI 1, with coolant level maintained above sensor
location.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
De-aeration hose installation should be confirmed when diagnosing low coolant warning concerns. Corrections
to hose installation should be made at surge tank eliminating any hose replacement.
