DESCRIPTION
On the vehicles affected by this bulletin, due to a software issue, replace the battery equalizer in the main
power compartment.
A laptop with VPG software installed and interface cable is required. Please contact your Prevost
customer support manager for this update.

PROCEDURE
DANGER
Park vehicle safely, apply parking brake, stop engine. Prior to working on the vehicle, set the ignition
switch to the OFF position and trip the main circuit breakers equipped with a trip button. On the
Commuter type vehicles, set the battery master switch (master cut-out) to the OFF position.
1. At the rear curbside of the vehicle, open
the main power compartment.

upper section of the compartment.

3. Remove cable cover.
4. Keep cover and hardware.

5. Unplug all electrical connections.
6. Re-install the nuts on the studs (3x).

7. Remove old equalizer. Keep hardware.
8. Replace cable cover on old equalizer.
9. Discard old equalizer.
10. Install new equalizer with reserved
hardware.
Tighten to 68 lb-in (7.7 Nm)
If hardware is lost or damaged, order:

11. Remove the cable cover.

following minimum versions.
