This bulletin does not necessarily apply to all the above-mentioned vehicles, some vehicles may have been modified before
delivery. The owners of the vehicles affected by this bulletin will be advised by a letter indicating the Vehicle Identification
Number (VIN) of each vehicle concerned.

DESCRIPTION
On the vehicles affected by this bulletin, remove selected wires from C15 and C58 of the HVAC system
wiring, and place them in new connectors C15B and C58B. New connectors have a higher amp rating.
We recommend inspecting connectors C15 & C58 for heat damage before ordering parts. Depending on
connector condition, order additional parts along with main kit. See Additional Parts table.

PROCEDURE

DANGER
Park vehicle safely, apply parking brake, stop engine. Prior to working on the vehicle, set the ignition
switch to the OFF position and trip the main circuit breakers equipped with a trip button. On the
Commuter type vehicles, set the battery master switch (master cut-out) to the OFF position.

evaporator compartment.

attached along the left side of the

Use tool 681598 to release the pins from C15. This is done from the front of the connector.

A6.

Inspect C15 connector for heat damage. Replace connector and pins if required.

A7.

Insert sealing plugs 563998 in C15 cavities 9, 10, 11, 12, 13.

On each wire, remove terminals, strip and crimp new terminals N10273 pin / N10274 socket.
Insert the wires in new C15B (564567 564568) connector cavities.

Locate C58. Refer to Figure 19 for general
location of C58.
Visually confirm an improved connector
(Figure 18) is already installed in this
location.
This confirms the improvement is already
implemented on this vehicle.

If confirmed: End of bulletin.
If the former connector is present alone,
proceed to part “B”, disregarding vehicle
number.

This modification is covered by Prevost’s normal warranty. We will reimburse you the parts and
one and a half hour(s) (1 1/2h) of labor for parts A & B or one hour (1h) plus parts for part A only
(for vehicles from D-5390) upon receipt of a warranty claim. Please submit claim via our Online Warranty
System, available at www.prevostcar.com (under Service \ Warranty section). Use Claim Type:
“Bulletin/Recall” and select ‘’Warranty Bulletin WB17-16 ".
