TITLE: Radiator Hose Clamp Inspection

APPLICABILITY: MY17 and MY18 Revero

PURPOSE: To re-torque worm gear drive clamp, or remedy complaint of coolant leak from upper
radiator hose.

Any vehicle in for service should have the worm drive clamp inspected and set to proper torque as
specified. If a vehicle presents leaking coolant from the engine bay, use the following procedure to
address the leak. If the leak source is found at engine upper radiator hose (fig 1a) connecting to
engine coolant port. Again if it is fitted with a worm drive clamp as shown (fig 1b) torque to 5.5Nm.
Verify leak is no longer present.
If the vehicle is fitted with a constant tension clamp on the hose, or if the worm gear clamp continues
exhibiting the leak concern, replace this with hose and clamp assembly part number C131111401004.
Provide images of the hose and clamp location for this concern to TSS.

Follow the service manual for the replacement hose procedure if required.
If the worm drive clamp or hose is removed for any reason, the constant tension clamp and hose
assembly (C131111401004) is to be installed as replacement part.
Follow the provided warranty claim for hose replacement. Test drive vehicle and run in sport mode,
verify leak is no longer present.
