1.) To gain access to the amplifier- remove the rear seat backs and seat cushions. Disconnect the harness from

the cushions (fig.3a, b, c).

2.) Remove the center bezel, pull firmly forward disconnect the accessory port (Fig 4a, b).

3.) Remove the door molding (both sides) enough to access the trim on the c-pillar and remove this trim panel

(Fig 4c,d).

4.) Use a torx 27 bit (fig 5a) and remove bolts on both (LH/RH) quarter garnish panel assemblies and slide
out panel (fig 5b,c). (Slide out the assemblies, plastic retainer will not come off easily).

Note the central clips, and use a panel tool to aid in removal (fig 5d).

Remove the rear package tray panel assembly (fg 5e).

5.) Remove the connectors to the amplifier. The front connector is a push lock, the tab must be pulled out and

the connector comes forward. There is a standard type push in with retainer tab. (Fig 6a, b)

6.) Undo the fasteners from the retainer plate (fig.7a). Install torque 8 +/- 2.0Nm.

Do not remove the antenna, set the plate carefully aside.

Remove the front of the amplifier torx bolts (t27) (fig 7b).

7.) Install torque as below 8 +/- 2.0Nm (Fig 8).

There is two sided tape on the enclosure, pry this up carefully with the appropriate tool.
NOTICE

Before reassembly, verify the amplifier replacement is functioning as normal. If any irregular

performance or a blown fuse is discovered create a TSS case and follow the instructions

provided by the TSS representative.
8.) Reassemble the interior trim in the reverse of removal. Check for any diagnostic trouble codes and

function of rear seat cushion heaters as per bulletin SC-17-86-20.
NOTICE!
After all BL1030 hardware bulletins are completed as applicable, contact TSS for instructions on how

to proceed with the firmware updates. See Bulletin CC-17-00-29 Baseline 1030 Firmware Release.
