Correction
Update to the power feed harness to the front console USB connector.
Install new power feed jumper with full time battery power.

Service Procedure:

1.

Using the components listed in the parts table, make a jumper wire for the X340 to USB connection. Strip approximately 5.0 mm (0.20 in) from each end
of the 22 gauge wire.

2.

Crimp the USB connector terminal (1) SAIT-A03T-M064 to the wire, (Terminal located in the J-38125 Terminal Repair Kit, Tray 14 - Yazaki, item 23. Use
crimping tool J-38125-7, nest C).

3.

Crimp the X340 connector terminal (2) 7116–4100–08 to the wire, (Terminal located in the J-38125 Terminal Repair Kit, Tray 9 - Yazaki, item 3. Use
crimping tool J-38125-642, nest 7).

4.

Remove the floor console RH extension panel. Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement - Right Side in SI.

Locate the large X340 connector (1) with the white lever action CPA. Uncouple the connector.

6.

Locate terminal 18 in the female connector. Insert the large jumper wire terminal into the backside of cavity 18 in connector X340, and push to seat.

7.

Locate the USB wiring harness sheathed in grey foam wrap at the backside of the floor console USB port, and unplug the connector (1).

Tip: Use the purple J-38125-215A release tool.
8.

Unseat the PK wire and terminal (1) from the backside of the connector.

9.

Insert the small jumper wire terminal into the backside of the USB connector and push to seat.

10. Clip the terminal off of the PK wire and secure the wire with tape to the USB harness. Tape any split foam wrap.
11. Install the USB connector to the USB port in the console.
12. Test the USB port for full time battery power.
