INSTRUCTIONS
1

Remove air conditioner shroud with a phillips screw driver/bit. (keep shroud you will reuse).
Remove bolts attaching the cowling over main air conditioner bolts with 3/8" socket with 6" extension.
Remove the main bolts attaching the Air conditioner with 3/8" or 5/16" socket with 6" extention.
Roll the air conditioner up onto tarp.

Fig 1: Clean area between ducts of air conditioner with alcohol, dry.
Fig 2: Remove air conditioner gasket, Clean surface with alcohol, dry.
Install new air conditioner gasket.

Fig 3: Remove the backer from the foam piece.

Fig 4: Place foam piece over area between ducts on air conditioner.
Press into place.
Reinstall air conditioner, the cowling, and shroud with 3/8" or 5/16" socket with 6" extension and phillips screw
driver/bit

Jayco has determined that certain Model Year 2017 North Point fifth wheels require installation
of a foam piece to the bottom of the roof air conditioner to ensure its proper function. The foam
piece is required to prevent the hot and cold air from mixing.
Our records show that the fifth wheel noted below are still in your dealership’s inventory and
require the repair prior to being retail sold:

If you have sold an affected fifth wheel, please contact the current owner regarding this Service
Bulletin and process the Warranty Registration. If you have questions regarding this Service

The coverage period for this Technical Service Bulletin is for one (1) year from the release
of this notification. (December 2016 – December 2017) If you have sold or traded your
