Customer may hear a high pitched whistle when the Climatic temperature knob is
on full heat and the blower is set to either 3 or 4. The temperature flaps allow air to
escape past the temperature flap seal.
Production Solution: Introduction of improved air distribution unit CW13/14.

Concern may be the result of a leaking vacuum check valve not holding residual
pressure overnight. This results in a hard brake pedal that may require more
pressure than usual to allow the vehicle to crank. If duplicated, replace the vacuum
supply line to the power brake booster, as the check valve is integral to the line.
This will not affect power brake operation while driving.

This update has been proactively released to install wire missing in TCM harness
during production. The results of this missing wire are that fault code P306B may be
set in the background with no MIL ON condition. Additionally, only if an electrical
malfunction of the gearbox multi-function switch occurs while the fault code is
stored in memory, the gearbox will go into limp mode the next time the vehicle
stops.
This UPDATE is in effect until removed.
Vehicle must meet all of the following criteria:
Procedure is valid only for vehicles that show the 37J5 code in Elsa,
Campaign/Action Information screen on the day of repair.
 If the vehicle is sold it must be within the NEW VEHICLE LIMITED
WARRANTY
 Procedure must be performed within the allotted time frame stated in this
UPDATE.
 Procedure must be performed on applicable vehicles in dealer inventory
prior to sale.

