Due to the increased installation rates of Driver’s Assist Technologies across Volkswagen vehicle lines, VWGoA
would like to inform you that the Driver Assist Technology tool package, AT-366, is scheduled to begin shipping to all
US VW dealers in March, 2015.
The content of AT-366 has been custom tailored to each individual dealer’s needs. A review of each dealer’s sales
history was performed to determine prior Driver Assist tooling purchases and individual dealer package needs.
In addition, a tooling compatibility analysis was performed to determine carry-over tooling for dealers that previously
purchased VAS6041 or VAS6190.
To assist dealers with the investment of Driver Assist Technology tooling, VWGoA will be offering substantial cost
reductions for this tool package. This special pricing is only applicable to the tools contained within your individual,
pre-determined tool package through the duration of the AT-366 distribution.

Dealers who previously purchased VAS6190 or VAS6190A will not receive VAS6430/2. VAS6190/1 is an
acceptable equivalent to VAS6430/2.
Dealers who previously purchased VAS6140 will not receive VAS6430/3. VAS6041/1 is an acceptable
equivalent to VAS6430/3.
Other components of VAS6190, VAS6190A or VAS6041 are not compatible with current tooling or
technology.
Dealers who previously purchased VAS6430/1 will not receive VAS 6430/1A or VAS6430/8. VA6430/1 has
been superseded to a combination of VAS6430/1A and VAS6430/8.

Should you need Drivers Assist tooling prior to the planned distribution date to support repairs, please contact the VW
Tools & Equipment Program by phone @ 800-892-9650. Orders will be prioritized and processed immediately. To
ensure adequate pre-distribution inventories, we ask that you limit orders only to support repairs prior to the
scheduled distribution.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the discount structure and customization of each dealer’s AT-366 tool package, orders
for Driver Assist tooling prior to the planned distribution will be fulfilled and invoiced as the dealer’s entire AT-366 tool
package.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to multiple dealer package combinations, the quantities and pricing listed below are for
reference and represent upper and lower limits of investment for the Driver Assist Technology tool package, AT-366.
