Summary
This Service Information bulletin announces a design change to the retractable portion of the tonneau cover made to address customer concerns of the cover retracting on its own while driving on rough roads. The shape and length (an additional 1mm) of the stoppers on both ends of the brace which secure the cover when in use have been changed as shown in the illustration below.

Introduction:
This Service Information bulletin announces a design change to the retractable portion of the tonneau
cover made to address customer concerns of the cover retracting on its own while driving on rough
roads. The shape and length (an additional 1mm) of the stoppers on both ends of the brace which
secure the cover when in use have been changed as shown in the illustration below.
Production Change Information:
The new tonneau cover was incorporated into FHI production during mid-April 2016. There has also
been a running change made during port processing. Use the illustration above to identify the new
part by the change in stopper shape.
