Normal Characteristic – Drivers (Left) Outside Rearview Mirror Takes Longer to Clear Than Passenger Side

2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2014 GMC Sierra 1500
Equipped with Power Heated Outside Mirror (RPO DL3)

Condition/Concern
Some customers may comment that the drivers (left) outside rearview mirror takes longer to clear than the passenger (right) side mirror.
This condition may be due to the glass on the drivers side mirror being thicker because it has auto chromatic glass for self-dimming.

Recommendation/Instructions
This is a normal characteristic of the vehicles automatic day-night mirror feature and no repair(s) should be attempted for this concern.
