POSSIBLE CAUSES
The fuel fill cap gasket creates too much friction, preventing the cap from sealing properly.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Inspect the fuel fill cap, and replace it, if necessary.

DIAGNOSIS
1. Confirm that DTC P0455 and/or P0456 is stored.
• If DTC P0455 and/or P0456 is stored, go to step 2.
• If neither DTC P0455 nor P0456 is stored, this bulletin does not apply. Continue with normal troubleshooting.
2. Remove the fuel fill cap and inspect the gasket.
• If the gasket is black, go to REPAIR PROCEDURE.
• If the gasket is brown, the fuel fill cap has already been replaced. This bulletin does not apply. Continue with
normal troubleshooting.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
Replace the fuel fill cap with a new one that has a brown gasket.
