Power Foldaway Mirror Glass Shakes, Flutters at Normal Driving Speeds

Equipped with Power Foldaway Mirrors

This bulletin is being revised to add the 2012 and 2013 model years. Please discard PI0373.

Condition/Concern
Some customers may comment that the outside power foldaway mirror glass shakes or flutters while driving at normal speeds. Customer may also comment
that the mirror(s) will not stay in the unfolded position.
This condition may be caused by the mirror(s) being manually folded and/or unfolded or the mirror(s) being obstructed while (power) folding.

Recommendation/Instructions
Note: For full size trucks, refer to the latest version of Corporate Bulletin Number 06-08-64-027 for additional vehicle specific information.
Follow the procedure below to correct this condition:
Fold and unfold the mirrors one time using the mirror controls to reset them to their normal position. A popping noise may be heard during the resetting of the
power foldaway mirrors. This sound is normal after a manual folding operation.
