• The vehicle cannot be taken out of transport mode.
• DTC U110500 (Transport mode active) is stored in the ABS control module, J104 (address word 03).
Tip: It is not necessary to contact TAC for this issue.

Technical Background
The ABS module is causing the DTC.
If the vehicle is taken out of transport mode while the engine is running, the ABS module will remain stuck in
transport mode and cannot be cleared.

Service
Only take the vehicle out of transport mode with the ignition on and the engine off. If this does not work, proceed
as follows:
1. With the ignition off, disconnect the ABS module, then reconnect it.
2. Cycle the ignition on, then reactivate transport mode through the GFF test plan.
3. Perform the GFF transport mode test plan again and deactivate transport mode.
4. Clear all DTCs and check to see that the issue has been resolved.
