Install new vent line  Installing vent line -1- for the
cooling system, Part No. 000.043.209.84.
5.1

Open the spring band clamp you just removed
using suitable assembly pliers and slide it
onto the new vent line  Installing vent line
-1-.

Push new vent line  Installing vent line -1as far as it will go onto the coolant pipe 

Route vent line  Installing vent line -1- as far
as the bleeder valve  Installing vent line -2-.

Fit quick connector for the vent line 
Installing vent line -1- onto the connection
at the bleeder valve  Installing vent line -2( Installing vent line -arrow-) until the quick
connector engages securely.
Check that the quick connector has engaged
correctly by trying to pull the vent line off the valve.

Align the vent line  Installing vent line -1- without tension by turning it on the coolant pipe 

Install retaining bracket for the reservoir.

Position the retaining bracket  Installing
retaining bracket -1- on the threaded bolts.

Screw on and tighten fastening nuts 

torque 5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.)

Remove the vehicle from the lifting platform.

Install cowl panel cover  Workshop Manual '508719 Removing and installing cowl panel
cover'.

8.6

Install both wiper arms  Workshop Manual '922519 Removing and installing wiper arm'.

Enter the workshop campaign in the Warranty and Maintenance booklet.

Open campaigns may be checked by using either the PIWIS Vehicle Information system or through PQIS
Job Creation.

necessary, the required part numbers will need to be manually entered into warranty system by the dealer
administrator.
