Some customers or technicians may notice that there is a loss of chime, or click clack sound coming from
the chime speaker.
Cause
It has been determined that the chime speaker connectors have spread terminals that cause loss of
continuity.
Options
Equipped with RPOs UQ3, UQA, UQG, UQH, UQS only.
Correction
Install new wiring pigtail leads with terminals.
Service Procedure:
•
Install wiring pigtail leads with terminals part number 13575580 for the following vehicles: Cadillac
ATS, CTS, ELR, XTS, Escalade; Chevrolet Corvette,
Colorado, Silverado; GMC Canyon, Sierra, Yukon Denali XL.
•
Install connector pigtail part number 13505908 for the Chevrolet Impala.
