DESCRIPTION
This document will guide the user through programming of the ECM to ensure the calibration correlates with the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) type. This
document is only to be followed after diagnostics and/or Tech Services have determined a replacement DPF is needed.

If replacing DPF with a NEW part (Table 2), start a Programming Support case file with current ECM calibration identified in the case description.
If replacing DPF with a RENEWED part, no programming is required, as the DPF sizing with be the same.
The DPF size "identifier" is the third letter in the calibration name:
