Description
Routing and clipping of the Engine Control Module (ECM) and Transmission Control Module
(TCM) clean power fuses on RE Bus models produced at the Tulsa Assembly Plant,
November 20, 2009 to April 27, 2010, may have the clean power fuses located exterior of
the battery box. While diagnosing electrical issues, be aware the fuse location may be
exterior rather than interior of the battery box.

To prevent unexpected movement of the vehicle and possible
serious personal injury or death, park the vehicle on a flat, level
surface, set the parking brake, turn the engine off and chock the
wheels to prevent vehicle from moving in both directions.
To prevent serious eye injury , always wear safe eye protection when you perform
vehicle maintenance or service.
Fuses located exterior of the battery box can be found at the chassis harness routing point
at the rear of the battery box. (Figure 1)

Units produced before and after the suspect build range will have the fuses routed to the
interior of the battery box with the fuse caps strap locked to the battery cables. (Figure 2)

The clean power harness will have sufficient length to move the fuses to the interior of the
battery box if required for standardization. The fuses are sealed connectors and will not
introduce additional service issues.
