The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern
Note: The condition listed in this PI will not affect engine cranking, engine starting or vehicle operation and will not set DTCs.
In rare instances, a customer may notice the "Press Clutch to Start" message is displayed in the DIC after the engine has been started. Though the concern
may be intermittent; if it is duplicated it will be under specific criteria each time. One such scenario is entering the vehicle, depressing the clutch pedal, then
inserting the key into the ignition and cranking the engine. This concern is caused by a software anomaly that has been identified and corrected.
Recommendation/Instructions
If this concern is encountered, dealership technicians are to reprogram the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC).
Note: To correctly program the IPC, there are 3 separate selections in TIS-2-Web that need to be completed. These must be done in the correct order to
repair this concern. Program the IPC in the following order:
