PROCEDURE

1.1.
Open the upper front panel curb-side door by removing the screws, retain the hardware. See Figure 1.

1.2.
Locate the temperature control thermostat. See Figure 2.

1.3.
Unplug the two wires connected to the temperature control thermostat. See Figure 3.
1.4.
Detach the temperature control thermostat assembly from the windshield.

1.5.
Dismount the temperature thermostat from the plastic bracket. Retain the hardware and dispose of the plastic

bracket.
1.6.
Install the temperature thermostat to the new plastic bracket N66066 with the retained hardware. See Figure 4.

1.7.
Ensure that the counter sinks are on the smooth side.
1.8.
Clean the plastic bracket surface with Sika glass cleaner or an equivalent ethylene glycol mono butyl ether

cleaner.
1.9.
Clean the windshield glue area with Sika glass cleaner or equivalent.
1.10. Glue the two strips of N60978 double-sided tape to the plastic bracket.

1.11. Glue the thermostat assembly to the windshield in it's original position. See Figure 6.

1.12. Plug the two wires to the thermostat assembly.

1.13. Close and fix the upper front panel door with the retained hardware.
