Follow your internal safety procedures.

PROCEDURE
1.1.

Remove and retain the wall nuts, and leave the bolts in place.

1.2.

Remove and discard the existing floor hardware.

1.3.

Remove the telescopic arm from the bus.

1.4.

On the telescopic arm, widen the holes that were in contact with the floor. Use a 33/64 in. drill bit.

1.5.

On the floor, drill the existing holes with a 0.397 in. (size letter "X") drill bit. Tap the holes with an M12 x 1.75 tap.

1.6.

Reinstall the telescopic arm on the wall side with the retained hardware, and on the floor side with two Nordlock
washers and two bolts, covered with an antiseize compound, such as Never seez.

1.7.

Apply the torques indicated in Figure 1. Apply a torque seal mark.

1.8.

Repeat steps 1.1 to 1.7 on the other telescopic arm. 
