WB35 - Replacing Front Lock Support Cover (Workshop Campaign)

Information:

This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on certain 2011 to 2012 Cayenne/S/S Hybrid
amd Cayenne Turbo vehicles. There is the possibility that paint adhesion on the cover of the front lock
support might not be sufficient due to a supplier’s manufacturing issue. To remedy the situation, replace
cover for front lock support.

vehicle. This Campaign is scope specific to the VIN! Failure to verify in PIWIS may result in an improper
repair.

Various stickers are applied to the cover for the lock
support, depending on the market and order type

After replacing the cover for the front lock support, new
stickers corresponding to those on the old cover must be
applied on the new cover (see also tables below).

Attachment "A": Work Procedure
Replace cover for front lock support.

Open the hood.

Replace the cover in accordance with the instructions in ⇒ Workshop Manual ’703919 Removing
and installing cover for front lock support’.

Apply new stickers to the new cover for lock support in accordance with the table above.
Position the stickers at the same positions as on the removed cover for lock support.

Close the hood.

5

Enter the workshop campaign in the Warranty and Maintenance booklet.
