possibility that the adhesive material on the affected vehicles was not fitted in accordance with
the instructions due to a manufacturing problem.
As a result, noises can occur in the roof-assembly area over the service life of the vehicle.

If there is no adhesive bead along the entire length between roof and bodyshell, the roof has to
be re-affixed using 2-component adhesive. Continue with Step 3
If there is an adhesive bead along the entire length, re-install the headliner. Continue with
Step 5.
