The convertible top center roof weather-strip self-adhesive has detached from the center roof panel.

Reattach the affected seal with the Service Procedure starting on the page 3.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Open the convertible top half way, to allow access
to the center roof weather-strip as shown in
Figures 1 and 2.


The center roof panel will be vertical.



The front roof panel will be close to horizontal.

2. Trim the end of the silicone sealant applicator so that it creates a 1/8 inch bead.

3. Apply clear silicone sealant to the leading edge of
the center roof panel, between the center roof
panel and the center roof weather-strip as follows:

See Figure A on page 2 for leading edge
location.



Gently pull the center roof weather-strip away
from center roof panel just enough to apply a
1/8 inch bead of silicone into gap.

 Apply silicone sealant where shown in
Figures 4 and 5 by green dash line.

 Apply sealant as shown in Figure 3.
NOTE: Do not separate any of the center roof
weather-strip that is still securely attached to
the center roof panel.



4. Partially close the roof as shown in Figure 6.
5. Remove excess silicone sealant from the front and center roof panels (see Figure 6).


Silicone sealant can be removed with Isopropyl alcohol.



Leave the roof partially open and proceed to step 7 on the next page.

6. Apply clear silicone sealant to the trailing edge of
the center roof panel, between the center roof
panel and the center roof weather-strip as follows:


See Figure A on page 2 for trailing edge
location.



Gently pull the center roof weather-strip away
from center roof panel just enough to apply a
1/8 inch bead of silicone into gap.

7. Close the roof completely.

8. Remove excess silicone sealant from the center and rear roof panels (see Figure 11).


Silicone sealant can be removed with Isopropyl alcohol.



If any additional silicone sealant has been forced out from between the front and center roof panels,
remove the excess.

9. Allow 24 hour for the silicone to cure before the roof is opened.
