is placing a temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Hold on approximately 880 specific MY2017 Altima (L33) and 296 specific MY2017 Maxima (A36) vehicles. Some of these vehicles were originally placed on hold on October 14, 2016 and subsequently released for sale on October 21, 2016. After further engineering and design review, Nissan
has decided to reverse this decision and place these vehicles on hold again. Nissan
is continuing to study the issue and expects to have further direction by the end of November 2016. The Service Comm I.D. has been changed to help clarify which vehicles should be held until further notice. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles currently in dealer inventory are affected by this QA Hold using Service Comm I.D. PC502 Note: Dealers should continue to check new arriving inventory for QA Hold applicability. 2. Please do not sell or trade the specific 2017 Altima and Maxima vehicles in dealer inventory subject to this QA Hold. 3. No further action is necessary at this time. Nissan
will provide an update by the end of November 2016. Note: If a vehicle previously held and sold, there is no need to notify the customer at this time. If necessary, Nissan

is placing a temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Hold on approximately 880 specific
