2016 Pilot Incorrect Wheel Torque Specification - Owner's Manual & POI Checklist

Print this iN message and give a copy to all Sales Consultants, Shop Foreman, all Service Consultants , all Technicians,
and appropriate personnel.
Dear Sales and Service Managers,
The 2016 Pilot Owner's Manual included on the Owner Information CD and the POI Checklist book, contain an incorrect
wheel torque specification. Service Repair information on SIS for the 2016 Pilot is correct. The correct value is 94 lbf-fl
(127 N·m, 13 kgf-m).
American Honda will be mailing a supply of updated CD's and POI Checklist books to you soon. You will need to use the
updated CD and POI Checklist book to replace the current CD and POI Checklist book in the glove box kit of any vehicles
that you have in inventory, or that you receive until vehicles being produced with the updated CD and POI Checklist book
arrive at your dealership.
