Healthy Parts Collection: 2007 CR-V Front Passenger's Airbag lnflators

Today, August 31, 2015, American Honda is announcing a limited healthy part collection project for certain 2007 CR-V vehicles currently
registered in Arizona and California . This activity involves replacing the front passenger's airbag inflater with like parts. The replaced parts will be
sent to Takata for analysis.
VIN inquiry will not be populated for this project. Instead, American Honda is working with Impartial Services Group (ISG), a business partner who
will contact affected customers on American Honda's behalf. Once suitable and willing customer candidates are identified, ISG will work with the
customer's preferred dealer to setup an appointment to have the procedure, as well as any other open safety recalls and/or product updates,
completed. ISG will provide the servicing dealer with a service bulletin containing relevant information to both perform the replacements and
also file warranty claims. ISG will also coordinate the supply of parts needed to perform the airbag inflater collection activities. Only vehicles
identified by ISG and setup via this process will be eligible for this project.
American Honda is attempting to collect 30 front passenger airbag inflators from each state through this activity. Once a sufficient number have
been collected , the activity will cease , and no further appointments will be made.
American Honda asks that dealers who take part in this activity process the related claims quickly, and follow all parts return procedures outlined in
the instruction sheet included in the replacement part kits to ensure prompt return of collected parts .
