When you submit a warranty claim for a replacement airbag inflator, the system will perform real-time validation
of the Replacement Part Number and Replacement Serial Number during normal business hours:
Monday through Friday: 2:00AM to 9:00PM (PST)
Saturday: 2:00AM to 6:00PM (PST)
Sunday: None
There are multiple manufacturers for replacement airbag inflators, and each has a slightly different part number
for the same part. Therefore, the part number that is scanned and linked to the VIN when the part is issued to a
Service Technician may be different from the part number that was ordered, which is populated on the Warranty
Claim via iN Plus Realtime.

When this occurs, the system will alert you of this
change and will automatically update the part
number in the Warranty Claim. A popup
message such as the one shown here will
appear when you submit the claim. Simply click
OK to continue.

If the Replacement Serial Number entered on the
claim is different than the one that was scanned
by the Parts Department and issued to the
Service Technician, a popup message such as
the one shown here will appear when you submit
the claim.
In most cases, you should select Cancel to have
the system automatically enter the
recommended serial number and then submit the
claim. If you have a specific reason to submit
the claim with the entered Replacement Serial
Number, click OK to submit the claim.

If the Replacement Serial Number field is empty
when you submit the claim and a serial number
was previously captured and linked to the VIN
and Repair Order, a popup message such as the
one shown here will appear.
Select Cancel to have the system automatically
enter the recommended Replacement Serial
Number, and then submit the claim.
