Description
This TRP is being issued to recalibrate the Engine Control Module (ECM) of ISX15 CM2350
engines. It provides authorization for certified repair locations to recalibrate the ECM if the unit
is in for a warrantable failure covered under Base Engine Warranty, Emissions Warranty,
and/or a CAP Coverage (if applicable).

Action
In order to qualify for repair under this field action, an engine:
1. must be within Base Engine Warranty, the Emissions Coverage period and/or within a

CAP Coverage period, and
2. must be on one (1) of the attached ESN listings.
NOTE: There are multiple ESN listings for this field action. Please refer to the
information below to identify the appropriate ESN list to use for eligibility validation.
a. ESN-list-A includes ESN range of 79470191-79705453
b. ESN-list-B includes ESN range of 79705454-79772073
c. ESN-list-C includes ESN range of 79772074-79832362
NOTE: Performance of a Campaign DOES NOT qualify a unit for this field action.
Campaigns are proactive field actions and DO NOT represent a warrantable failure. The
unit MUST be in for a customer complaint which leads to warrantable failure in order to
qualify under this action.
After verifying that the engine meets the above requirements, perform the following actions:
1. Please refer to the appropriate ESN list for eligibility validation.
2. Please refer to Attachment D for the minumum calibration revision required to complete
this TRP. Calibrations for this TRP are available on QSOL.
NOTE: If the ESN is also eligible for TRP 1479, follow the instructions in TRP 1479
to inspect the SCR catalyst and select the appropriate calibration.
NOTE: If engine satisfies minimum calibration requirement, DO NOT recalibrate the
engine. Please file for ONLY the Campaign Check in the claim.
3. Recalibrate the ECM as described in Procedure 019-032 in the ISX15 CM2350 Service
Manual (4310641) on QuickServe® Online.
4. Provide documentation of ECM revision codes from before and after the recalibration in
the claims section.
5. File one claim for only the labor costs (SRT 19-611 or SRT 17-902) associated with this
repair.

There are no parts covered in this field action.
NOTE: Only ECM calibration time (SRT 19-611) or Campaign Check (SRT 17-902) should
be claimed on this TRP. All other warrantable charges associated with the repair can be
claimed to the coverage that provides the most benefit to the customer including Base
Engine Warranty, Emissions Control System Warranty or CAP Coverage (if applicable)
