Dear Ducati Dealer,
Ducati is pleased to provide further details regarding service strategy for the Model Year 2016 Scrambler Flat
Track Pro; which will complete the information that you’ve already received, or that you will receive, during the
technical courses at our training centers.
Within the document you will also find all the references necessary to prepare the vehicle for pre-delivery
inspection, and the instructions for vehicle maintenance.
Please be reminded that during the first 6 months (until 7/31/2016) any and all faults found on the motorcycle
must be communicated through YouTech, including a detailed description and picture(s). Warranty claim
approval is dependent upon these reports (this process does not apply to service under Campaigns, Technical
Bulletins or Tips & Tricks).

Bulletin SVC-15-003 “Model Year 2015 Scrambler Introduction” and on PDI Check-List (Ed.01/15) within.
Please print out and use this document any time you are inspecting this model for PDI, deliver a copy to
the final Customer, and file one together with the repair order (RO).

The kit supplied with the Flat Track Pro version contains the sport headlight fairing that must be installed
with all the parts required for the pre-delivery inspection. Below are the instructions for the assembly:

Install the 3 rubber blocks (2) on the sport headlight fairing (1).
Install the sport headlight fairing (1) on its support, start the 3 special screws (3) and tighten them to
a torque of 3 Nm ± 10%.

Maintenance chart
The maintenance plan does not change from the other Scrambler models, and interventions are in Scheduled
Maintenance Check List (Ed.01/15) attached to Service Bulletin SVC-15-003 “Model Year 2015 Scrambler
Introduction”.
Please print a color copy of this form, fill it in thoroughly and turn it in to Customer (keep a copy attached to
work order).

Please be reminded that on the Scrambler Flat Track Pro the Oil Service 1000 must be performed at 1,000km
(600mi) and the Desmo Services must be performed every 12,000km (7,500mi). The technical information
contained in this document may undergo changes. We recommend always checking such information against
the data provided on the workshop manual and dedicated technical bulletins.
