Bulletin Classification: This bulletin provides instructions and guidelines for a vehicle procedure that is not the result of a
defect. This bulletin might not be VIN-specific. These instructions assume knowledge of motor vehicle and high voltage
electrical component repairs, and should only be executed by trained professionals. Tesla Motors assumes no liability for
injury or property damage due to a failure to properly follow these instructions or repairs attempted by unqualified
individuals.
This Service Bulletin supersedes SB-13-15-007 R2, dated 18-Jun-14. Each content change is marked by a vertical line in
the left margin. Discard the previous version and replace it with this one.
A finisher is now available for the floor section of the center console (Figure 1). This finisher matches the existing
dashboard trim. An updated console molding is included to provide structural support to the finisher.

Installation
1. Lift and detach the existing center console carpet (Figure 2).
NOTE: The carpet is held in place with dual-lock hook and loop material.

2. Pull the front portion of the LH and RH wrapped trim panels away from the center console (Figure 3).

3. Remove the existing console molding (Figure 4) from below the under-screen cubby (Figure 5).

4. Push a clip onto each of the 2 prongs on the new molding (Figure 6).

NOTE: Make sure the clips are fully secured on the prongs (Figure 7) and are neither raised (Figure 8) nor angled
(Figure 9).

5. Push the clips on the new console molding into the console below the under-screen cubby (Figure 10).

6. Starting from the front edge (Figure 11), position the center console floor finisher into the carrier (Figure 12).
NOTE: Make sure the front edge of the center console finisher is seated against the lip of the console molding (red arrow
in Figure 10).

7. Secure the center console floor finisher by pushing down on its top surface. The finisher is designed to fit securely
inside the center console carrier. No fasteners or adhesives are required.
8. Reinstall the front portion of the LH and RH wrapped panels.
