Dear Mr. Retail Customer,
This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle
Safety Act.
EZ Loader Adjustable Boat Trailers Sales Corporation, Inc., has decided that a defect which relates to motor
vehicle safety exists in certain 2014 and 2015 EZ Loader boat trailers equipped with torsion suspension
axles which contain some components manufactured by Dexter Marine Products. Some of these axle
components may have a condition where the inner metal bar that acts as the suspension spring could have
a material defect, causing the bar to break and disable the suspension without any prior warning. The failure
of the suspension could cause the wheel to separate from the vehicle potentially causing loss of control,
increasing the risk of a crash, serious injuries, or property damage.
The serial number on your trailer has been identified as one of the potentially defective units, but an
inspection will be required to determine if the defective component is in your trailer or not.
If your trailer has the defective component, the manufacturer of the suspect torsion axle components, Dexter
Marine Products, will provide for the repairs at no cost to you.
Dexter Marine Products (DMP) will be contacting you soon to assist in determining the most convenient
manner for you to have your trailer inspected and/or repaired as necessary. If you prefer, you may contact

These repairs may be made in one of two ways. First, there will be repair teams in areas where
concentrations of these trailers are located. In this situation, EZ Loader personnel will come to where your
trailer is located and make the repairs at that location. Alternately, DMP personnel will work with you to
arrange for your EZ Loader dealer or another repair facility capable of performing the necessary work to
have these repairs made.
Federal law requires any lessor who receives a notification of a determination of a safety-related defect or
noncompliance pertaining to any leased motor vehicle shall send the notice to the lessee within 10 days
