Cummins Inc. is initiating campaign activities on the Engine Control Module’s (ECM) software in
some 2015 ISX12 and ISX15 CM2350 engines.

Our records indicate that you own the Cummins ISX12 or ISX15 CM2350 engine(s) listed below.

To ensure the Engine is compliant with emissions regulations, Cummins Inc. has launched
Campaign 1742, ISX15/ISX12 CM2350 ECM Calibration Emissions Campaign to update the
Engine’s ECM software. This letter is to inform you that the Engine(s) listed above is/are
eligible for the campaign. The parts and labor for this repair will be provided to you at no cost.
Retroactive Coverage has been extended for this software update. Please contact your
Cummins certified service location if the Engine’s ECM software update was made prior to the
release of the Campaign 1742 for reimbursement consideration.

California residents: The State of California requires the completion of emission

campaign repairs prior to vehicle registration renewal. Your Authorized Cummins Repair
location will provide you with an Emissions Campaign Proof of Correction Form after the
campaign is performed. Be sure to save this form since the California Department of Motor
Vehicles may require that you supply it as proof that the campaign has been performed.

We strongly urge you to take advantage of this system improvement as soon as possible.
