DESCRIPTION:
ANC = Active Noise Control
The vehicle’s radio may be heard in the background on the opposite side (land-side) of a call made from
a phone connected to Sensus Connect infotainment via Bluetooth.
This happens because the microphone’s phantom feed for ANC is picking up this sound.
It is not heard in the vehicle because media/radio audio is muted during the Bluetooth call.
The audio heard may come from either FM, AM, or SiriusXM sources.
SERVICE:
Do not replace any components or try to repair this symptom as this is not a hardware failure.
Work is ongoing to develop a software solution to solve this symptom with a scheduled release in
December of 2016.
This TJ will be updated when new information is available.
