Volkswagen SAGA information.

A price decrease for 504/507 TDI engine oil will take effect on February 1, 2013.
The attached “Volkswagen Engine Oil Reimbursement Table – VW Castrol Oil Program” document has
been updated to reflect the change to the Warranty reimbursement amount based on the TDI oil price
decrease.
The Dealer Cost and Retail Price (MSRP) information for the gasoline engine oils has also been updated
to the current amounts. There is no change, however, to the SAGA Oil Reimbursement Amount for these
oils.
The Synthetic 505 01 oil is no longer included in the reimbursement table due to low volume.

Weighted averages for mineral and synthetic oil are determined based on their respective national dealer purchase volume percentages.

Part pricing for gasoline engine oil reimbursement is based on tenth (1/10) of a quart quantities (quantity of 1 = 0.1 quart, quantity of 10 = 1 quart).
For a MY 2011 Jetta 2.5L oil change where 6.1 quarts are replaced, for example, a quantity of 61 should be entered in the SAGA claim.

For gasoline engines oil claims, the Outside Material Amount entered in SAGA is based on the tenth of a quart value.
For a MY 2011 Jetta 2.5L oil change where 6.1 quarts are replaced, for example, an amount of $31.72 (61 tenths of a quart X $0.52) should be entered in the SAGA Outside Material Amount field.
