Warranty Service Process - Update

PURPOSE:
To communicate an update to the Katzkin leather seat cover Warranty Service Process.

TIMING:
Effective Immediately

BACKGROUND:
Katzkin leather seat covers are available as an Upfit Option package on the following
vehicles: (as of May 13, 2014)

Note: Mopar part numbers beginning with the prefix of "LTHR" or "LR" also app ly to this
process.
Katz kin leather seat covers added to a vehicle as an accessory wil l display a Sales Code of
5C5 (Mopar Katzkin Leather Seats) in DealerCONNECT> VIP This Sales Code identifies the
Katzkin leather seat cover as a Mopar Accessory.

ACTION:
Disregard Warranty Bulletin D-08-13 and reference this bulletin.

In cases when a Katzkin leather seat cover exhibits a manufacturing defect, perform the
following steps to address the customer's concern:

Contact Katzkin directly for ass istance . llil. Nfil order replaceme nt
seat covers from Mopar. Katzkin's phone number is 1-800-842-0590.
Provide the VIN and odometer reading of the vehicle
Katzkin will assign one of their local authorized restyle rs (upholstery shop)
to arrange for the repairs. Katzkin will ship a replacement piece w ithin 48
hours. Your dealership will not be charged for the repair.
To prepare your sublet processing claim, use Labor Operation Number
23-99-85-01 at no charge (n/c) and claim the .3 hour sub let processi ng
allowance in the normal fashion. The allowance is for administration
time only. No sublet charges should be added to th e claim. Failure to

use this new labor operation number will result in a claim rejection
with message code LD 1-Labor Operation does NOT apply to vehicle
as equipped
In cases when Katzkin leather Mopar seat covers are added on a veh icle as an accessory,
add the Sales Code of 5C5 to the vehicle using Dea/erCONNECT> Service Tab > Warranty
Administration > Vehicle Option Updates application. Sales Code 5C5 wi ll then be applied to
the vehicle record.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Repairs to Katzkin leather Mo par accessory seat covers must follow the same repair
guidelines as noted above.
Special Edition vehicles such as: (Mopar 10, 11, 13 & Mossy Oak or Red Wing Ram models)
will require VIN verification prior to order fulfillment.
Note: The 2012 Chrysler 300 Mo par 12 or the 2014 Dodge Challenger Mopar 14 editions are
not covered under this bulletin.

Please ensure that all affected dealership personnel are aware of this bulletin.
